Help Support Baby Delaney and Her Parents
On March 7, 2026, our beautiful little Delaney entered the world almost a month early by emergency cesarean section. What should have been a joyful moment has also come with unexpected challenges for her and her parents.
Since her birth, doctors have discovered that Delaney has two holes in her heart. She has also been unable to pass the required car-seat test, which has led to a referral to a specialist for further evaluation. Because of these concerns, Delaney is still in the hospital and will remain there until doctors feel it is safe for her to go home.
During the last couple months of pregnancy, Delaney’s mom had to make countless trips to the hospital due to medical complications. Each time meant both she and my son had to miss work—time that was unfortunately unpaid. Now, while they stay by their daughter’s side in the hospital, they still have no income coming in and their bills are quickly stacking up.
Once Delaney is released, they will also be making frequent trips back and forth between Branford and Gainesville for specialist appointments and follow-up care, which will add travel and gas expenses to an already difficult situation.
We are asking for any help you may be able to give to support this young family while they focus on what matters most—being there for Delaney and helping her grow stronger every day.
Donations will help with: • Medical and hospital-related expenses
• Monthly bills while they are unable to work
• Gas and travel costs for ongoing specialist visits
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to our family.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support as we rally around baby Delaney and her parents during this difficult time.Help Support Baby Delaney and Her Parents
