I'm coming to you as a Mother who just had the wind knocked out of her. My son was in School, Louisburg College ( he plays football) when he called home complaining about his chest. Well school was getting out for summer break a lil less than a month but while there I advised him to go to the athletic director who sent him to the Dr. Fast forward, he's home & now he's complaining about his stomach so we go to the ER… After many test the Dr comes in & tell us that he has Lymphoma..a 6 ½ in mass ( tumor) in his chest. CANCER!! To know my boy is to LOVE him . Well mannered, here's a kid who got rewarded just for being the respectful young man he is You all can check with his high school Lucy Ragsdale in Jamestown,N.C. . Yes I'm a Mom but how much of a Mom when I can't explain what's happening & why . He said to me " ma I came to the hospital for a stomach ache and came out four days later with a cancer diagnosis @ 19. He doesn't understand & I don't have an explanation for him. He helped me out bks he worked @ Food Lion on Fairfield now he can't. We have chemo in Winston Salem & other Dr appt but my car is down so we're paying for rides. Well he has Cancer & chemo so ride shares , Lyft, Uber are chancing sickness with an already weak immune system. I've NEVER done this but I'm a desperate Mom who ONLY has her 1st son well being in mind.. Any & all help is thankful.. grateful 🙏🏾
