On September 16,2023 my husband Angel was rushed to the hospital. He had a major stroke,Suffered from a intracerebral brain hemorrhage.  he has had 4 surgery's by this time. The craniectomy to help with the internal bleeding in his brain, a tracheotomy to help him with his breathing, he has a feeding tube inserted into his stomach as well. We have spoken with his nurses and doctors and have been told that he still has a 90% chance that he will not wake up and even if he does not only will there be some permanent damage but also that it would not be for several months if he does. They informed us that there is a scale, called the Glasgow Coma scale that ranges from 3 to 16. 16 being the best and can wake up any day now, and 3 being essentially brain dead. My brother is currently at a 5. Not only has he had these several critical surgeries that are extremely expensive, (just the craniectomy alone can be almost $250k), but he has been in the hospital know for about 2 weeks now on constant watch and care. The next step from what we have been advised by his doctor is going to be Acute Care as they have done everything they can for him in the hospital and the rest is up to him. This will also be something that we will have to pay for. We are a family of 3, our son is 2 years old, anything helps and will be used for medical expenses, for his son and any housing(rent,utilities and food).So please show support by donating, sharing and please keep my husband and family in your prayers as this has devastated us.
