About this fundraiser

Hello, my name is Jeremy and I was diagnosed with extreme ADHD in the 1980s. My whole life people have tried to medicate or condition me to be normal. I have always felt like I am pretending to fit in around most people.  Over the last year I have been reading books written by people diagnosed with ASD and they are describing my experience and my struggles. My parents and wife do not believe me.

In 2001 I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and have been on medications ever since. In the past year I have tried to go back on medication with terrible results mixing ADHD and arthritis medication.

I feel that an adult autism diagnosis will help me get the proper support I need and even access to the correct medication if that is appropriate. However I simply can not afford this and My insurance will not cover it. So I am seeking help dear friends, to pay cash for these medical tests and travel expenses.

If 2500 people can spare a dollar I can book an appointment for the first round of tests, after that I will at least have the support of my family and be able to at least submit forms for reimbursement on future care.

Thank you so much for reading my request.
