Many of you have asked how you can support the Gunter family beyond prayers and the meal train. In response, several of us came together and set up a “Caring for Bill” medical care account to help with their growing expenses.

This is something the Gunters have been hesitant to move forward with, but it has become clear that it’s needed—and we know they are surrounded by many friends who genuinely want to help. They were initially reluctant to take this step, as they never want anyone to feel obligated to give. With gentle encouragement, they agreed to let us move forward—and they are truly grateful for the incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support from their community of family and friends.

Cancer is a long battle!  These funds will be used throughout Bill’s cancer journey not just the immediate needs but for the long journey ahead he is likely to have major surgery, hospital visits and additional treatments. No one is prepared for a diagnosis; spiritually, mentally nor financially and every gift will make an impact on Bill’s fight!
