Our dear friend Chantel has recently been diagnosed with Stage 1–2 oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. On September 10th, she will undergo surgery at the University of Michigan to remove the cancer located on the tongue, as well as the lymph nodes in her neck. While we are hopeful for a successful outcome, her journey won’t end there—she may need radiation and will need therapy afterward to help regain her speech and adjust to the changes this diagnosis brings.
Anyone who knows Chantel knows she has a heart of gold. She is a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and a dedicated dental hygienist. Every day, she pours her energy into caring for others—whether it’s her family, her patients, or her community. Now, it’s our turn to surround her with the same love and support she so freely gives.
This diagnosis and upcoming treatment bring both emotional and financial challenges. Medical expenses, therapy costs, and time away from work will quickly add up. By coming together, we can help lighten her burden so she can focus fully on healing and recovery.
Please consider donating if you are able. No gift is too small—every contribution helps more than you know. If you are unable to donate please take a moment to share this post. Just as important, we ask for your prayers, love, and encouragement as Chantel takes on this fight with strength and grace.
Let’s show her she is not alone ❤️
