Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this new year, 2026, brings each of you abundance, health, and work. We had the pleasure of having my nephews Mateo and Santiago the summer of 2025. We had so much fun, they are great kids with very loving parents!
Starting in November of last year, Mateo (14 years old) began experiencing abnormal behavior, insomnia, loss of appetite, and depression. Some doctors said it was a reaction to the medication he took for the flu, but he was later hospitalized after a panic attack after Christmas.
The doctors ran multiple test, MRIs and CT scans to find that the diagnosis is an Encephalitis. They still don't know what kind it is and what caused it and at what extension had reach other organs in his body. For now, he is back home temporary while they wait for more test. In the meantime my sister Aranzanzu and her husband Oscar are trying to hold on to medical bills that adds up their worries and to the unknown treatment and remedies if any.
Therefore, I would like to share their story and hope with your support we can help Mateo's parents to focus on supporting him without having to worry about additional financial bills.
On behalf of Aranzazu and Oscar, we thank you for your thoughtful donation to Mateo's medical bills. Your donation will make a great impact in their lives. Every penny will help. God bless you always!
Esthela and Samy Cuzmar.
