My name is Charles Hollis. Earlier this year I was too ill to continue working. After many tests it has been confirmed that I have stage 3 colon cancer. The diagnosis comes at a time when life was already bearing down heavily on my family. After having filed for bankruptcy I was just beginning to rebuild my income. All of the stress of closing a business during COVID and financial burden of being the sole provider for a family of 5 came to a head.

Heading into the summer I am about to start chemotherapy prior to having surgery to remove the tumor. I currently have zero income and I am not eligible for state disability compensation. My number one goal is survival and number two is keeping my family together. I know I can do what it takes to get through this physically but unfortunately I do not have the ability to make finacial ends meet. My wife has been exceptionally supportive and she has scrambled to earn an income enough to save our house for now. Without her determination, we would have already been forced to move out and live off the proceeds. My family is afraid of losing me and the house that they have grown up in. My whole purpose in creating this page is an attempt to save my house and not have to sell it in order to pay the rest of the bills.

Those of you who know me are aware of that I am not keen on asking for help. My family is in dire need at this time and any support goes a long way. Any funds donated will be used for mortgage payments, food, and treatments not provided by Western medicine such as supplements and gut health therapies.
