This fundraiser is for a friend who is undergoimg treatment for cancer for the past 14 years comprising of chemotherapy and some radiation. This chemotherapy was critical for the control of the cancer however led to spinal deterioration and partial paralysis. The spinal deterioration  has led to the need for spinal fusion surgeries to reinforce the spine. They have a specialized team of doctors from the USA and Canada all working on this case. Currently, they are scheduled for a few more critical surgeries which require additional funding. Despite having a job and additional family help, unfortunately they are unable to meet the financial requirements for the procedures.
