Our family is reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support during a very challenging time. Recently, Eddie underwent surgery that resulted in the removal of part of his lower leg. While he continues to recover, he now requires in-home care to ensure his safety, healing, and overall well-being.

Eddie also lives with diabetes, which makes his recovery especially delicate. His diet must be carefully monitored, and the guidance of a trained caregiver is essential in helping his body heal properly. I knew from the beginning that we would not be able to manage Eddie’s home care on our own. While I have been given permission to adjust my work schedule to accommodate his needs a few days each week, I cannot be home every day. On the days I must work, we will need professional help, as Eddie cannot be left home alone.

Instead of organizing meal trains, we are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Eddie’s in-home caregiver. These funds will go directly toward securing the care that will allow him to safely recover, maintain his health, and give our family peace of mind during this difficult transition.
