About this fundraiser

Hello. My name is Jason Crawley and my father recently suffered a stroke. He's been assisting me with my bills due to my physical and mental health making work difficult. Unfortunately, due to the stroke, he's in rehabilitation and unable to assist me at this time. I am in the process of looking for work, but have bills piling up and have no other friends or family able to help. At this time, the doctors do not know how long his recovery is going to take, but when he is eventually allowed to return home, it's likely he will not have gained the ability to assist me at this time.

I am currently undergoing esketamine treatment for my depression and anxiety and am unable to attend as I have to use Uber to get there. The money would ensure I can continue treatment, not lose the place I'm living in, purchase food, hygienic products, etc.

My goal is to look for part-time work while continuing treatment until my father's health returns (if it returns, as it may worsen and not return).

The $5,500 should buy me two to three months of living expenses allowing me to continue treatment to prevent me from further depression and anxiety. Mind you, my father was assisting me until I get on my feet and all I'm asking is that she continue what my father was doing: assist me with my bills allowing me to go to treatment until ready to return to the workforce. She's there for one thing only: his money.

I'm just not sure what to do at this point. Anything helps. Thank you so much for reading.

Edit: Now, my stepmother is preventing my Father from speaking to me and she will not provide any updates. The last I spoke with him, he sounded like he was taking a turn for the worse. She has told the staff at his rehabilitation center to not let my calls through. Mind you, he and I used to speak on average an hour a day. She has cut me off of all financial assistance. I am terrified of becoming homeless.

Again, your help will provide me the time needed to find a job while continuing my treatment. Treatment is important to ensure I do not slump back into severe depression to the point where I cannot continue working.

Any amount will be beyond greatly appreciated and I will update regularly so you know where funds are going. For those who do donate, I cannot thank you enough.

Please pray for my fathers recovery. He's not only my father but my best friend. Words cannot describe just how much I miss him :(

I can't even afford to go see him, which makes it that much more heartbreaking.
