About this fundraiser

My sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and George, have been battling George’s rare Pancreatic cancer since Christmas of 2022. George has been fighting bravely for 2 years going through several different rounds of Chemotherapy.  George also has  Parkinson’s. The struggle has been financial as well because Cindy, who is a loan officer, is  self employed. She has not been able to work. Her income is the main support for their family.

Also, Cindy is responsible for taking George to his Chemo Infusions, Phyical and occupational therapy appointments, and trips to St Louis because Washington Regional is the closest hospital with specialist in the area of this rare Pancreatic cancer that has spread to George’s  liver and spleen. George has Neurofibromatosis which is connected to this form of cancer. All of these doctor appointments and trip to St Louis, not to mention the  daily appointments in Fayetteville consume Cindy’s time. I have helped them with driving to St Louis and helping here in Fayetteville as much as possible. I have tried to help financially  too.I am a realtor and do business in other parts of the state and Califotnia. My income has been reduced due to the economy as well.
George’s treatments have reduced  his cancer but the battle continues. The stress of not having enough money is  making it harder to fight the cancer. Friends and relatives have helped financially, but now we are at the end of the rope.

We desperately need assistance.

Sincerely,

Susan Perry
