About this fundraiser

Dear Friends

My name is Joan Rochelle Hasker.  I am a proud parent to Alex, my beloved two year old rescue, with big blue eyes!

Above all else, I am a devoted, full-time stray and feral cat volunteer and rescuer. I am reaching out to you because I am committed to rescuing, sheltering, nurturing, and re-homing abandoned and abused animals in our community and beyond.

The Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare:

Freedom from Hunger and Thirst by Providing Fresh Water and a Good Diet that Keeps them Healthy.

Freedom from Discomfort by Providing a Safe, Warm Shelter and a Comfortable Resting Place.

Freedom from Pain, Injury and Disease.

Freedom to Express Normal Behavior. Animals Should Have Enough Space, the Right Facilities and the Company of Their Own Kind.

Freedom from Fear and Distress. Animals Should be Treated Kindly, and Kept in Conditions that Promote Happiness to Prevent Mental Suffering.

As we approach the holiday season, and with a cold winter just around the corner, animal rescues tend to increase and my resources do become stretched.

A small gift is crucial and will directly support the need for nutritious meals for the adult cats and their kittens, extra warm blankets, toys for fun, mental stimulation, and to reduce boredom, veterinary care for spaying and neutering, flea treatments, vaccinations and shelter supplies.

A contribution of any size will make a significant difference in the lives of these precious animals, helping to provide them with the love and care they deserve until their forever homes are finally found.

Thank you for considering joining me in the ongoing fight to end animal neglect in our community.

I would be incredibly grateful for your support in this endeavor. Please share my journey of hope with your family, friends, and on social media. Together, we can create a bright and wonderful future for these deserving animals.

Warm Regards,

Joan Rochelle Hasker
