I am reaching out to find support for my mother and brother in his road to recovery from a broken back. On July 13th my brother fell 15 feet out of a tree landing directly on his back.  His break was cm from severing his spinal cord ,so he had to go in for emergency surgery. The surgery was a success with pins and screws. 

The financial burden that comes from this surgery is staggering. My mom is self employed so the medical coverage she does have does not cover the expenses completely. He will also be needing physical therapy sessions in a few weeks.  With him just coming home,he needs 24/7 care for the cirst 3-4 weeks. His complete recovery will be 6-8 months.
