Greta was diagnosed with a grade 4 gioblastoma in July 2025. She had  surgery to remove the tumor and then will start chemotherapy and radiation. Greta find joy in spending time with her grandkids (she now has 20!), watching whichever sport is is season, and listening to music; sing-a-longs are her jam.

Her daughter Jessica, who is surviving cancer, has been coordinating care, and funds raised will be used to cover the necessary expenses incurred during treatment including but not limited to: lodging, transportation, treatment co-pays, medical supplies, and incidentals.
