I had a medical emergency in August of 2025. The hospital thought I was having a stroke, but instead I have a grapefruit size infection in my right mastoid. My doctors have been treating it with antibiotics and a tube put in my ear to try to help drain it. Unfortunately, it is not working. It causes severe headaches and dizziness and I miss work frequently. I do not qualify for disability or any assistance in our area. We got behind on rent due to out of pocket medical costs that needed to be paid to be treated. I need to have surgery to drain it, but cannot afford it. This can cause major issues such as facial paralysis, hearing loss, or brain abscess if not treated. We also go without food to be able to pay bills. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
