About this fundraiser

I had a medical emergency in August of 2025 which required an immediate trip to the Emergency department. The hospital thought I was having a stroke, but after 2 MRIs and 3 CT scans, they found a grapefruit size infection in my right mastoid and a cholosteoma in my ear canal. My doctors have been treating both with antibiotics and a tube put in my ear to try to help drain the excess fluid from the infection. Unfortunately, it is not working as well as they hoped, but enough to minimize symptoms so I can work. It causes severe headaches, numbness in my face at times, dizziness, and occassionally a popped blood vessel in my eye. I missed work frequently. I do not qualify for disability or any assistance in our area. We got behind on rent due to out of pocket medical costs that needed to be paid to be treated. Ultimately, I will need to have surgery to drain it properly. This infection can cause major issues such as facial paralysis, hearing loss, or brain abscess if not treated. We are also being threatened with eviction and no agencies will help us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a Venmo if you are more comfortable using that platform.
