Chris has always had anxiety and in January started having pain. His wife forced him to go to walk in. He was emergent with his blood pressure and was sent to E.R. There they found a softball sized tumor and wanted to admit him and he refused. After seeing 3 oncologists (with we think it's cancer but we don' know where) and a biopsy they were able to determine he has pheochromocytoma which is cancer in the internal part of your adrenal gland. This cancer is very rare (1 in 500,000). Your adrenal gland is involved in all hormone production (and apparently very persnickity-- so it cannot just be operated on). He is headed to specialists in Seattle.
Chris just wants to get well and go back to work (and that is the outcome we're praying for).
We ask for your prayers and good wishes and although Chris would never ask…if you want to help his family-- here is a way.
