I wanted to share this photo. The Judge valued the home at $270,000. He dropped the price to $200,000 at which point there would be no money left after paying the house off and the realtors. he has gone to court many times to explain but the judge does not listen to facts.

About this fundraiser

Help my Dad fight.  My dad is the greatest dad in the world.  I am who I am because of who he is.  I grew up watching my dad help others and serve causes because that is who he is.  He would help anyone and never ask anything in return or expect anything.  He has spent his whole life trying to make this world better by his actions.  I know he volunteered for years with Special Olympics, was a Firefighter and EMT, and help anyone who needed anything.   Unfortunately there are those who will use people like my dad but that never stopped him.  His ex wife for example.  He married her, helped her and her children, and put her through Law School even when she refused to work while attending.  He now finds himself in a horrible situation.  The court has ordered him to pay almost $30,000  to his ex or go to jail.   This is just for property he has paid everything else the court ordered including her attorney fees when he himself was without one.  Here is the problem.  He cannot refinance because she is on the deed, and the loan company will not refinance with her on the deed because of her credit.  He has been trying to sell the house for almost two years but at the price point he can sell there is not any money left after realtor fees and closing cost.  He has fought this in court for almost 4 years as well, with no help.  I know this has all caused me to lose a lot of faith in our legal system.  There is so much more I could tell you about my dad, but if you know him, you already know the kind of person he is.  He does not know I am doing this and my Aunt is helping.  He would probably be embarrassed, but he has helped so many I guess i think it is OK to ask?
