This fundraiser is on behalf of a sweet soul I met while under mental health care. Brenda is 68 years old, she lives on SS and was working pt to make ends meet, she was let go of her pt job, was unable to make rent or car insurance, lost pretty much everything, she has no children and one sister who she has no real relationship with. 2 weeks ago she ran her car head on into a tree to end her life because she had no where to go, and no hope, so she tried to commit suicide, she ended up in the same hospital I was. when I left we exchanged numbers, she was still going to be there a while, her medicare Decided it would no longer pay for her stay, and hospital made her leave, she’s using All her SS to stay in a motel until she can get enough assistance to get her belongings and a room to rent. She has no one in her life. imagine being 68 and losing it all. She once owned a flower shop for 22 years, she’s so kind,  sweet, artistic, and deserves better. We want to help with at least basic necessitie, maybe help toward first months rent, or even towards more time in motel until she can get state assistance.  If you can help in any way, i promise you it would be appreciated and I know it will help her.
