Latest update as of Jan 28, 2026

  • Wednesday Jan 28

Jared was transferred yesterday to a larger hospital capable of handling his medically complex condition. After meeting with the surgical team late last night, Bryanna and Jared received more devastating news: Jared has five tumors on his brain.

Today, Jared will undergo a left frontal craniotomy to remove the largest of the five tumors. This surgery is critical. Once pathology results return, doctors will have a clearer understanding of the aggressive cancer that has metastasized to his brain, lungs, and colon. Right now, the primary cancer is still unknown—but time is of the essence.

Following surgery, Jared will have time to heal before beginning radiation, with the hope of shrinking the remaining tumors. High anticipation remains for chemo/radiation for other metastases.

    🙏 Please pray today for:
    • God’s hand to guide every surgeon and medical professional
    • Peace and strength over Jared and Bryanna
    • Healing beyond human understanding
    • Wisdom, clarity, and miraculous outcomes

We firmly believe Jared is not walking this road alone. He is covered by prayer, surrounded by love, and held in the hands of the Great Physician. “For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20)

Please stop, pray, share, and lift Jared up today.

Jared and Bryanna will likely be out of work longer than initially anticipated. If you can donate or share, it would mean so much. Even if you can only continue to pray, your support will mean the world.

To those who have already donated, your generosity has completely blown the family away. Jared and Bryanna truly have a village behind them, and they are incredibly grateful.

About this fundraiser

We are sharing this with hopeful hearts as our brother, Jared, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. At this time, the specific type has not yet been identified, as he is still awaiting evaluation by oncology. What we do know is that the cancer has metastasized to multiple areas of his body, and he is currently awaiting transfer to a hospital with an oncology unit.

This news has been incredibly difficult for our family—and for his family—to process and share. Jared is an Air Force veteran who has faithfully served his country, and anyone who knows him knows his strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to others. He is deeply devoted to his wife, children, family, and friends, and has always been the kind of person who shows up without hesitation. Now, it is our turn to show up for him.

The road ahead includes chemotherapy and other specialized treatments. While Jared is still in shock, he is courageously focused on fighting this disease. A diagnosis like this touches every part of life. Beyond medical treatments, there are daily responsibilities that do not pause—caring for family, keeping a household running, traveling frequently to appointments, and managing the unexpected expenses that arise when life is suddenly put on hold.

Jared will likely be out of work for the foreseeable future, or at minimum unable to work full-time. Bryanna is self-employed and runs a daycare, and her hours will also likely be limited as they navigate this season together.

Because of this, we created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the heavy burden Jared and his family are carrying during this fight. Your support will help with:
• Medical expenses not fully covered by insurance
• Meals, household help, and childcare so Bryanna can rest and focus on supporting Jared
• Transportation to and from frequent treatments and appointments
• General living expenses and lost income during this season of care

While we cannot take away the physical battle Jared is facing, we can help remove some of the financial and practical stress so he can direct his strength toward healing.

A Prayer for Jared

We invite you to join us in prayer for Jared and his family:

Lord, we place Jared into Your loving hands. Surround him with Your peace, strengthen his body, guide the hands and wisdom of his doctors, and fill his heart with hope. Grant healing, comfort, courage, and protection over him and his family with every step of this journey. Amen.

As Scripture reminds us:
“For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them.” — Matthew 18:20

When many hearts lift the same prayer, God hears each voice and is with them. Even though we may be separated by distance, we are united in faith—crying out together for healing, strength, and full restoration. We find peace in knowing that every prayer spoken, every tear shed, and every hope offered for Jared is seen, heard, and held by God.

Whether you are able to give $1 or $20, every gift makes a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing this page and keeping Jared and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

We will continue to share updates here as Jared moves through treatment. Thank you for being part of his village—for lifting him up, surrounding him with love, and standing with him in faith and hope.
