Hello, my name is JoAnn Bullard. I reside in NYC. I lost my job in 2020 due to COVID, and my husband got sick from the COVID vaccine and became disabled. I'm on public assistance and had to downsize my apartment. I placed my items in 3 U-Haul storage units to protect them from being taken when the landlord threatened eviction in 2021 & 2022.

These items include family heirlooms and mementos that are irreplaceable for my husband and me, and will be auctioned off to strangers who will take my family photos and mementos and discard them. I am asking for donations to pay for the storage units for a full year, which amounts to $8,000. This will secure my family photos and mementos for a full year. I've reached out to Catholic Charities and public assistance, but I was denied assistance because I'm not living in a shelter. Please help save my family heirlooms and mementos from being auctioned to strangers.
