About this fundraiser

When Lily was first hospitalized, everyone came to us asking what they could do to help. Our needs were mainly all met at that time but I knew in the future we could/would face different struggles. Having a handicap child with a chronic disease is NEVERENDING! Yes she has made amazing progress for which we are super thankful. This hasn't come easy though. Endless rehab appointments and Lilys strong will are why she's come as far as she has. With that being said, she still has limitations. She can't run, jump, ride a bike etc etc. Being as she's only 11 I have poured everything into getting her rehab. This is a marathon, not a sprint. She's now getting some new orthotics and undergoing a botox treatment. People dont understand how much time, money, and emotional toll this all takes. To be honest, we've barely kept our heads above water.
I have cut every corner i know how to and yet we are still drowning. What we need right now is a big influx of money to get us caught up. Last week my car broke down on one of our trips to Cooks, resulting in yet more emergency expenses we did not have the money for. I had to use our mortgage payment.  This was the straw that broke the camels back. Now we are behind in our house payments, have school clothes/supllies to buy, plus numerous other expenses. We are hemorrhaging money and really need help now. If anyone would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
