In September of 2023 my brother-in-law Walter Ivy accidentally stepped on a nail in a place wear he had been a million times but somehow a board with a nail in it magically appeared. At first, no one really thought anything of it but as time went on the nail hole for worse and worse causing infection after infection. There were multiple doctors involved and no one could figure out what was going on until a 4th opinion revealed that he had a blood flow problem and had to have yet another surgery (about number 8 so far) to clear the blockage (picture above). He was not expecting to be out of work this long and is really struggling economically, unable to pay some bills and falling behind on his mortgage. There is light at the end of the tunnel, though, as he continues to progress but very slowly and the date to return to work keeps getting pushed out further by his doctor. Recently some teens came and slashed the tires on his truck as well adding to the frustration of this event. Please give to help pay a few bills to help get him “back on his feet”!
