This fundraiser is for Haydee Cepeda-Fernandez.

Those of you who are aquatinted with Haydee, are aware that She had a complicated Brain Surgery which seemed did not leave any sequels; but just not visible. within the years, She was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura, to mention some non-curable and debilitating neuromuscular and immunodeficiency diseases, which keep her on a long term treatment along with diabetes, Obstructive sleep apnea and Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Within the past five years, Haydee’s health deteriorated; She’s had multiple surgeries, as her body keeps getting weak, She started having falls ending in fractures, including both ankles, plus the numerous falls without significant incidents, which forced her to stop working, for obvious reasons and safety as a high-risk patient. That contributed in most part to her physical and the family financial struggle.

The most recent surgeries were her eyes, September and December 2021. Her next surgery is scheduled for May 2023.

Health insurance is not gov, therefore We have non covered out of pocket expenses on every procedure.

There will be a long road ahead of the family, We can use all the love, positive vibes and support right now. Any money donated will help with medical expenses, transportation, and with household expenses until Haydee can resume work.
