Hi, my name is Kelly Behill. My husband and I have worked in the valley with her two daughters for the last 15 years my oldest daughter Abigail will be graduating from Kern Valley high this year and Samantha will be graduating next year. We also are raising our 16-year-old niece in November. I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, and I do luckily have insurance, but there are a lot of things that are not covered. They’ll pay for a scooter or an electric wheelchair for me, but they won’t pay for the lift that goes on the back of the car. I need to be drinking protein shakes cause I can’t barely eat Anything But the only pay for a certain kind that my stomach can’t tolerate so if I want the ones that I can tolerate? I have to pay out of pocket gas prices are going up every day and the back-and-forth to Bakersfield is really financially draining us and we’re gonna need new tires And brakes here soon my husband has a full-time job and I am on per minute disability because of health problems, I don’t like to ask for help I really don’t and if you feel like you would rather donate an item that I need or something that we need versus cash or money on this app I understand just DM me through Facebook and I can give you a list of things that we need. I love the Crown River Valley and I feel like I don’t ever remember, not living here and I can’t think of any word I’d rather live.
