Hello everyone,

My name is Victoria Le and I am managing this fundraiser to benefit my good friend Sara Medina. 

It is never easy asking for help, especially for someone like Sara. She is the best friend, daughter, cousin, sister, and colleague anyone could ever ask for. She is an amazing person and is always there for everyone else. Nothing stops this determined and hard-working woman!!! She is reluctant to ask for help and never accepts it either. I am asking for donations on her behalf to support her through this difficult time.

Sara has been diagnosed with ALK(-) Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALK(-) ALCL), or T-Cell Lymphoma.

Though she has regained movement in her right arm, she is still unable to resume her normal work schedule as she undergoes chemotherapy and other treatments.

Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer; however, they are unable to determine what type it is. They first thought it was spindle cell sarcoma, then breast cancer, and now they are referring to it as carcinoma of unknown primary (CUP). There are multiple tumors throughout her body which includes her breast, ovary, lung, clavicle, breastbone, armpit, right knee, and right shoulder. Multiple biopsies have been taken and are still inconclusive or pending. With her right arm in constant severe pain and frequent oncology appointments, working has been tough. There is a lot of unknown surrounding Sara’s diagnosis, but with these donations, she will have one less stress and worry on her mind. 

Sara’s dad was also diagnosed with liver cancer this year and she is the only caregiver for both parents. 

All donations will go towards supporting Sara’s medical and non-medical bills and anything she needs.
