Help Uncle Larry Baird Journey Home in Comfort đ
Â
Aloha friends and âohana,
Â
We come to you with humble hearts to ask for your kokua (help) in supporting our beloved Uncle Larry Bairdâa California boy who moved to Hawaiâi in the 1970s and never looked back. Hawaiâi became his heart, his home, and his life.
Â
Uncle Larry made his mark in the islands through his passion for people and community. For years, he brought folks together through Softball of Hawaiâi, creating memories, friendships, and a true sense of âohana on and off the field. Later, he built something of his own againâIsland Security, a local company focused on keeping our communities safe with integrity and aloha.
Â
But beyond business, Uncle Larryâs greatest act of love was caring full-time for our beloved TĆ«tĆ«. He put his own life on hold to ensure she had everything she needed in her final yearsâcomfort, dignity, and unconditional love. He gave everything he had without ever asking for anything in return.
Â
Now, Uncle Larry is nearing the end of his own journey.
Â
Heâs in need of hospice care, and as many of you know, the cost of comfort and support in Hawaiâi nei is incredibly high. We want to make sure he spends his final days the way he deservesâfree of pain, stress, or worry, surrounded by love, until the Lord Jesus gently calls him home.
Â
If Uncle Larry touched your lifeâthrough softball, through Island Security, through his kindness or loyal friendshipâplease consider giving. Any amount helps. Every share spreads the aloha.
Â
Letâs come together, as he always did for us, and send him home in peace and dignity.
Â
âWell done, good and faithful servantâŠâ â Matthew 25:23
Â
With deep gratitude,
The Baird & Kaonohi âOhana
