Help Uncle Larry Baird Journey Home in Comfort 💙

Aloha friends and ‘ohana,

We come to you with humble hearts to ask for your kokua (help) in supporting our beloved Uncle Larry Baird—a California boy who moved to Hawai‘i in the 1970s and never looked back. Hawai‘i became his heart, his home, and his life.

Uncle Larry made his mark in the islands through his passion for people and community. For years, he brought folks together through Softball of Hawai‘i, creating memories, friendships, and a true sense of ‘ohana on and off the field. Later, he built something of his own again—Island Security, a local company focused on keeping our communities safe with integrity and aloha.

But beyond business, Uncle Larry’s greatest act of love was caring full-time for our beloved TĆ«tĆ«. He put his own life on hold to ensure she had everything she needed in her final years—comfort, dignity, and unconditional love. He gave everything he had without ever asking for anything in return.

Now, Uncle Larry is nearing the end of his own journey.

He’s in need of hospice care, and as many of you know, the cost of comfort and support in Hawai‘i nei is incredibly high. We want to make sure he spends his final days the way he deserves—free of pain, stress, or worry, surrounded by love, until the Lord Jesus gently calls him home.

If Uncle Larry touched your life—through softball, through Island Security, through his kindness or loyal friendship—please consider giving. Any amount helps. Every share spreads the aloha.

Let’s come together, as he always did for us, and send him home in peace and dignity.

“Well done, good and faithful servant
” — Matthew 25:23
