My name is Latasha Heath. My husband is Eric Heath. We live in Bastrop, LA. We are in Oschner Hospital in New Orleans. Already been here about 3 weeks and the doctors don't know when we will get to go home. My husband has progressed liver cirrhosis. They are trying to get everything done in order for him to have a liver transplant in order for him to survive. It's a long process with several tests being done. And if he can get the transplant, it's about 6 to 8 weeks for recovery. We are hours from home and family. His food and all is free but we have to pay for my food, washing and drying landry, and everything. He can no longer work and I can't work bc I stay at his beside. Our parents help as much as they can but they are on fixed incomes. If y'all could find it in y'all's heart to help, it would be greatly appreciated and a really huge blessing. Thank you so very much.
