In December, our lives took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn because of my daughter Isabella’s CRPS—a pain so intense and relentless that even the strongest medications cannot dull it.

Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) worsened severely after Isabella underwent a spinal cord stimulator procedure. Instead of helping, it led to unimaginable pain and complications. Since then, she has endured two emergency room visits and an 8-day hospital stay. During that time, doctors tried everything they could—morphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, and other powerful pain medications—but nothing brought her relief. After all of that, she was discharged with no real solution, only instructions to follow up with a pain doctor.

Unfortunately, finding help has been nearly impossible. Many pain specialists will not see her because of her age, and others were involved in her previous treatments that made her condition worse.

For Isabella, every day is a battle against an invisible enemy. She fights bravely despite the constant agony. Most days she is housebound, and even the thought of going to school or spending time with friends causes unbearable pain.

Since December, Isabella has also undergone five ketamine infusions just to give her small moments of relief. Even with those treatments, the pain continues to overwhelm her. Many days she cries from the pain and says she wishes it would just end. As a mother, hearing those words breaks my heart in ways I can’t describe.

We have tried everything within our power—doctors, therapies, medications—but nothing has brought lasting relief.

There is a treatment program that offers hope: a 2–3 week intensive CRPS treatment program in Idaho. This program could give Isabella a chance to regain her life and learn how to manage the pain that has taken so much from her. But the cost is overwhelming. Between the medical program, travel, food, lodging, and time away from work, the expenses are more than we can manage alone.

We have exhausted our savings trying to help our daughter. Now we are turning to our friends, family, and community for support.

Your help could mean the difference between despair and hope for Isabella. This treatment isn’t just about easing her physical pain—it’s about giving her a chance to be a normal teenager again. Isabella has been dealing with surgeries and chronic pain since she was just 3 year old , and all she wants is the chance to live a normal life.

Isabella is incredibly brave. Even in the darkest moments, she continues to fight. She believes deeply in the power of community and kindness, and she knows that even small acts of support can change someone’s life.
