I am reaching out on behalf of the Lay family during an incredibly difficult time. Laura is 4 years old and such a bright and strong girl, who needs an appendectomy surgery this week. She is in a lot of pain and her dad doesn't have medical insurance. He is a single dad struggling to care for his daughter. They have no other family. 

She is in Texas at the Larado Medical Center and her surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. She is a remarkable young girl. Her dad is so desperate for help. He doesn't make much and the hospital is refusing the surgery until a deposit is made.

Despite the shock and uncertainty, Laura has shown remarkable courage and strength. Her dad believes she’ll come through this with the help of the Lord and her medical team. He is standing by her side and staying as positive and hopeful as they can be. They now face overwhelming medical expenses, costs, and the emotional toll of this urgent situation. 

James is always helping others and pitching in wherever needed throughout the community and now they need our support — whether through donations, prayers, or simply spreading the word — to help cover the costs and provide peace of mind as they focus on Laura's health and healing.
