Hi everyone,

Many of you know I’ve been dealing with chronic kidney disease caused by medullary sponge kidney for years. Despite countless procedures, hospital stays, antibiotics, and medications, I continue to battle recurring kidney infections, severe pain, and stone burden that has greatly affected my daily life and ability to be present for my family. 

After extensive care at Mayo Clinic, my medical team has recommended moving forward with a right nephrectomy to remove my most problematic kidney in hopes of reducing infections and improving my quality of life.

While I am grateful to have insurance, there are still many out-of-pocket costs associated with surgery and recovery, including travel to Rochester, hospital expenses, medications, and everyday things I may need  

I am not someone who asks for help easily, but right now my focus needs to be on healing and getting my life back. Any support, shares, or kind words truly mean more than I can express. We all know I stopped sharing my health journey on social media because of back lash from people I’m not asking for you to donate but by the time I don’t people will be messaging asking where they can donate or help out.
