Hi, this is Keith and Hunter and we are raising funds for our mom Rachel Robinson. She did a really courageous and self less act on July 12th and donated her (left) kidney to her friend Sandi Knecht. Sandi has kidney disease and was in need of a living donor ASAP.  Our mom immediately contacted the transplant center without hesitation to see if she was a match for her friend. Well, everything went fast from there and my mom was the PERFECT and most HEALHY candidate for Sandi. The surgery was scheduled within a month of us receiving the good news as Sandi's kidneys were failing and it was imperative the surgery happen soon. 

On July 12th Rachel and Sandi became Kidney Sisters. Everything went smoothly at the hospital. Rachel and Sandi were both at the hospital for a few days and were definitely ready to be home with their families. Our mom is doing really great. The first two weeks were pretty rough on her, but she's feeling much better now and is mobile. Our mom goes back to work (lightly) next week, but she works more than just her day job. Our mom is a hustler and these next few months she needs to be resting and can't do her normal part time jobs. 

Your donations will go directly to our living expenses and would help take the financial burden off our mom while she continues to heal these next few months.
