I have been suffering for several months with kidney stones. Unfortunately, the total cost of the first procedure is $4,500 + doctor and anesthesia fees, and I have not yet met my insurance deductible or out-of-pocket maximum for the year. As a result, the full financial burden is falling on me during an incredibly difficult time.

Surgery 4/22 went well. There were 4000 shock waves administered and laser to the left kidney to break up the stones. There were two impassable stones, one was temporarily pinned in order to not block the path to the stent for successful exiting.

5/27-  A second surgery is scheduled to laser the larger pinned stone, remove the remnants from the first surgery that are pooling in the left kidney that failed to exit via the stent that was placed. This will require a flushing and a new stent placement.

The change of surgery facilities last moment allowed a down payment and payment plan of 60 days for the remaining balance. Any assistance is greatly appreciated, no amount too small, it all counts. Shares and prayers are greatly appreciated.
