About this fundraiser

Robert Francis Glace was an airborne ranger of the 187 range battalion in the Korea war he had lost his records in. I think St. Louis along with many other soldiers my grandfather has the bronze star tackled Hill 606 and constantly talks about that moment, he is 93 years old he has no assets and he is not doing well. He’s now in a home and as his grandson, I am trying to raise or ask for help for a hero. He was a Sergeant in the army and then from that he went to the Air Force. He was a security at Graterford prison in Pennsylvania then he became the chief of police Spring city and then became a security guard at Owen J Roberts high school he was a game warden fishing game and right now he doesn’t have much left so I’m just asking to send him away the right way and not just sit there and see him pushed away after all his accomplishments in life he is a hero to me has made so many people his friends and what upsets me is he focused so much on his family. He never had his own house. He’s 93 years old has been sores. They’re trying to fix and I need to make sure he’s in a good home and gets what he deserves. His records should be on the way they’re being reconstructed but if he leaves us, I don’t think he’s going to get the honors. He deserves so as hard as it is to sit here and write this, this is the first time I ever did a go fund me but anything would help my pop-pop like I said this is the first time I ever did this and I’m not sure how this works out but that’s an American hero that has sacrificed everything in life. He was 187th airborne my family never really knew how to go about finding his records and making sure he had the insurance and everything needed for when the time came and now the time is, I’m putting my self out there to help my grandfather her his hat he was an elite group or with an elite group the tackled hill 606. I still can’t find info on that but the stories he talks about at the time at the end is quite amazing with the H heroism I thank you for your time
