Help Lathen Get the Specialized Care He Needs

🧠 Trip #1 – Intellectual Testing in Round Rock (June 10–11)

Lathen began important intellectual testing in April but couldn’t finish due to a severe blood sugar spike. We’re heading back to Round Rock, TX to complete the final 2.5 hours of testing. Because it’s a 2-hour drive, and sitting for long periods is extremely hard for him, we need:

• A hotel stay to reduce travel stress
• Diabetic-friendly snacks, meals, and drinks
• Gas for travel

🧪 Trip #2 – MRI Under Anesthesia in Temple (June 26–27)

Later this month, Lathen has to undergo a 6-hour MRI under anesthesia at McLane Children’s Medical Center in Temple, TX. He’ll be fasting for at least 8 hours before the procedure, which is risky with Type 1 Diabetes, so we need to stay nearby in case of an emergency. This MRI will determine the next steps for his spinal surgery.

We’re doing everything we can to get Lathen the care he needs, but these back-to-back trips are more than we can manage alone. Your donation—big or small—will help us provide for:
