Hi Family- Thank you to all that have prayed with us and for us during this difficult time. For those that are not yet aware, my father, Larry Schmidt, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma, and it is Metastatic. This cancer has quickly spread to multiple areas of his body, namely the esophagus, stomach, liver, and bones. The Oncologist has ruled out Chemotherapy or Radiation as a means for treatment. Starting tomorrow, Dad will be on hospice care to keep him comfortable until the Lord calls him home. We planned on his journey lasting much longer than this, and we are not financially prepared for his needs, including cremation proceedings, and a small memorial service. This is all happening very quickly and with prayerful consideration, we, as a family, elected to reach out to our family and friends for ANY financial help they are able to provide. Any amount that you are able to give is a tremendous blessing as we navigate this difficult road. If you have prayed for us, please continue. Thank you for the blessing of your support, whether in spirit or financially, or both. We want to apologize in advance if Mom is not able to respond to calls, texts, or messages. Please know that we love you all and we love that you want to reach out. Her priority at this time is Dad, and she will get back to you as soon as she is able. If you need to reach out to one of us kids, feel free. May the Lord bless and keep you.
