Hello friends! Over a year ago I experienced an episode of heavy bleeding and cramping that went on for an excruciating 4 months. I was uninsured at the time and couldn't afford to be seen so I went to Planned Parenthood and received an endometrial biopsy. The results led them to want more tests which I couldn't afford, nor could they provide so I tabled it and waited. Now I finally have health insurance and undergone numerous tests over the last month to determine I need a surgery to reduce my extra thick uterine lining and investigate a few spots that look suspicious. Since I am self-employed I do have a few paid sick days I can use, but not enough to cover the whole situation plus the cost of the actual procedure. Because of those factors I am asking my friends and family to donate to the cause. All funds would go directly to medical bills and would ease the stress of trying to come up with extra funds for the surgery and regular bills (we're not going to say anything about student loans 🙃 iykyk!) I know many of us are in very uncertain times and I appreciate any help received. If you by chance have money to donate but don't want to donate to me for whatever reason please consider donating to Planned Parenthood or any other free/non-profit women's health clinic as they do provide life saving care for many women who need it.
