Hi, my name is Kristin! My best friend, Emily and I have worked in mental health for many years. We have always shared a passion for helping those individuals who are down on their luck and need a hand back UP to get on their feet again.. Tragically, Emily died unexpectedly on January 1, 2023. This has been devastating for Emily's friends, family and those individuals she helped along the way. I decided to create a non profit organization in Emily's memory. It is called Love, Emily. This non profit organization was created to continue Emily's passion for helping those less fortunate. To pay it forward, if you will. We are making care packages for people in need and attaching a card that says Love, Emily. I have already distributed many of these to people on the street who have lost their home or job due to unforeseen circumstances, to people struggling with mental health or medical conditions affecting their quality of life. We also want to raise money to help people with emergency shelter, food and medications. It is my hope that Love, Emily will become a nation wide organization to help those in need across the country.
