I am setting up this GoFundMe for myself. I have been a CNA for 37 years, dedicating my life to caring for others—especially the elderly and those in need. Over the decades, I have spent countless days lifting, helping, and comforting people who depended on me every day. The physical demands of my work have taken a serious toll on my body. I have already undergone three knee surgeries and two back surgeries, with my last back surgery about 18 months ago. 

This week, I bent over to pick up a box and injured my back again. I am devastated. Despite everything, I have continued trying to work and care for the residents I love so dearly. Right now, I am walking with a walker, struggling to stand, and have lost feeling in my left foot and the back of my leg. I now need another MRI and further medical care to determine what happened. Like many caregivers, I never had the chance to build savings for a situation like this. I will most likely need to apply for disability, but that process can take months. In the meantime, I still have monthly bills, medical expenses, and a home I have worked so hard for and do not want to lose. 
I have to wait 8-10 months to get disability. I need to be able to pay all my bills and medical bills to be on tell it comes through . This would be life changing for me
