About this fundraiser

Hi, my name is Dhyieadra Augustin. My friend/sister, Tamora Burns, could really use medical/financial help right now with future &past medical/financial expenses. Tamora has seizures/epilepsy, and has had multiple seizures during her pregnancy. They have tried to adjust medications, etc., and figure out what is safe for her and the baby. The doctors still don’t know what is causing or triggering her seizures. Tamora has had 60+ seizures since September of this year while pregnant and has been hospitalized multiple times. This has been an emotionally rough journey with having seizures and being pregnant, worrying about her baby girl, Camille. Tamora has tried to work, but her seizures have made working difficult. The doctors have taken her out of work due to her seizure disorder. Tamora has such a big heart and will do anything for others, even if she doesn’t have it. I want to help and bless her during this time of need for her and her baby. Tamora has financially bills/medical bills that she will need help with during this time, and I feel as though she doesn’t need to stress or be worrying about any of this during this time. Tamora went into labor on the 14th of November and had 22+ seizures. The doctors had to do emergency surgery for the safety of the baby and Tamora. Baby girl Camille was born on 11-15-24. Unfortunately, Tamora was transferred to ICU on life support in a coma for two days, and she didn’t get to see baby Camille for a couple of days. The doctors took her off life support and placed her on the baby/mommy unit after a couple of days. Tamora and Camille were able to come home on the 11-20-24 by the Grace of God. Tamora has been set up with a neurologist specialist at MUSC in Charleston to receive continued treatment for her seizures and medications. If you can find it in your heart to help Tamora, my sister/friend, let’s stand in the gap and intercede. Tamora has been there for me and many others, and I know she will greatly appreciate it! My goal is to be able to receive financial/medical support for her over the next 3 or 4 months, so she can focus on herself and her baby Camille, who is now 2 weeks old. Prayers will also be greatly appreciated as well for her and baby girl Camille on this journey. If you would like to or can donate, please do; that will be greatly appreciated by her!
