My name is Deborah Dennis Joy. I am 61 years old. In Sept. of 2025 I woke up 1 day and everything was blurry. I was seeing double. A very dear friend paid the bill for my eye exam and new glasses. Praise God for friends. I was diagnosed with extreme cataracts. He wrote me a prescription for new glasses. He said they would help. I've been wearing the "new" glasses for 2 months. My vision hasn't changed. I have applied for Medicaid and Obama Care. Obama Care will cost me $1061/month because my husband and I don't file taxes. (Because the only income we receive is SSDI). I am a state mandated home health giver because my husband is disabled. I cry every day because God asked me to take care of my husband and it's very hard to do when I see every thing double. I can no longer drive. I am asking for any help anyone can donate for the cataract surgery on my eyes. Without insurance it costs $7000.00 for both eyes. But I can be able to survive with just 1 good eye.
