Hi my name is Colandra Stringfield and I’m the Mother of Rhodree Simmons. I am creating this fund raiser due my Son, Rhodree having recently found out he is having problems with his heart while being hospitalized for sickle cell crisis. We were scheduled and visited with Baptist Health Cardiology following discharge from hospital stay on August 12th 2025. We were informed that needs a heart monitor at home to monitor his heart through out the day and night for the next 30 to 60 days. My Son has Insurance, Humana Healthy horizons and Florida Blu, we were informed neither insurance covers the machine and we would have to pay out of pocket. At this time we are unable to afford the medical needs we are facing, so with your generosity we will be able to obtain the heart monitor as this is what the funds will be going toward and any other medical responsibilities that may occur from this new condition. My Son Rhodree, and I would be so honored and grateful of you all donations to keep my Son goin. He has children that he loves dearly and they as well in return, their dad is their FAVORITE person in the world. His heart rate is low they tell us, amongst a few other things it’s doing and they can’t figure out why without him being on the heart monito. As some days have already passed with me trying to do as much as I can on my own, I ask everyone right now, if you can, to help me help my Son.
