On September 21, 2024 around 11 PM I had a stroke and was unable to walk. I called my wife and son and told them I think I had a stroke and I need them to come get me. I got to the hospital and sure enough, I did have a stroke which they admitted me. I was in the hospital and stroke rehab for approximately four months. I got out of the rehab center went home and my family set me up with a hospital bed in a wheelchair. I was home for about a couple weeks and I noticed my big toe on my right foot had a black spot in the middle of it. I didn’t think much of it till the next morning when my toenail had come up wish I had to cut off. I went to the doctor and showed them my foot and they told me that I had gangrene and would probably have to have amputation. They cut my leg off 660s below my right knee. I was back in the hospital for sometime going through the physical therapy trying to straighten my leg. My left leg was affected by the stroke and I couldn’t straighten it. I was driving Taxi before that and once I had these problems I had to quit Taxi driving which is how I was making my house payment and paying my bills between what I’ve got driving Taxi and my Social Security money. I had enough money in the bank to ask you for three months to be by house of bill payments just in case something happened to me. I never expected this to happen and I’ve been laid up ever since September 21, 2024. I got news today that my right leg is strong enough for a prosthesis. If I can’t straighten my left leg, I called the journal manager of the Taxi company and he told me if I could walk around a car without any support from a walker cane or whatever that he would hire me back. I should be getting the processes pretty soon and I’ll try and get myself where I can walk on it hopefully without Assistance. I’m 75 years old and driving. Taxi is the only thing I’m able to do at this point of my age in life. I need the bunny to catch up with my mortgage payments and my general bills just to live on if you can, I would appreciate your help I’ve been bit rid since September 2, 2024 and I cannot walk at all. I can’t even stand up at this time but I’m doing my exercises with my caregiver every day to help me get stronger so I could support my Family. My older son who is 55 years old still lives with me due to some mental health problems. So I need to support him as well until I can’t anymore. Please help me if you can.
