Latest update as of Jan 28, 2026

  • I wanted to share a small but meaningful update with everyone who has taken the time to read, share, or support my Give a Hand fundraiser.

Over the past months, I’ve been continuing my recovery and taking things one day at a time. I’m no longer in a wheelchair, which is something I’m deeply grateful for, but healing is still ongoing. Some days are stronger than others, and I’m learning to be patient with my body as it regains strength and stability.

This fundraiser is helping me cover basic needs while I focus on recovery — things like housing stability, transportation, food, and medical-related expenses. Having this support means I can focus on healing instead of constantly worrying about survival.

If you’ve already donated or shared, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness reminds me that I’m not alone, even on the hardest days. If you’re not able to give, sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.

Every bit of support — financial or emotional — is a hand that lifts me forward.
Thank you for being part of my journey. 💛

About this fundraiser

This fundraiser is for me, Jonine, as I continue recovering from nerve damage that temporarily took away my mobility and still limits my ability to work and care for myself fully. Healing has been slow, and I am still in a vulnerable stage of recovery where stability is essential.

The funds raised will go toward basic living expenses while I heal, including:

  • Rent and utilities
  • Groceries and daily necessities
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Medical and recovery-related costs

These funds will help relieve constant stress so I can focus on healing instead of survival.

Support is needed immediately. Recovery has already lasted longer than expected, and without steady income right now, even small expenses create overwhelming pressure. Your help now will make a real difference during this critical time.

Your support means safety, peace of mind, and the ability to keep moving forward one day at a time. It means I can rest when my body needs rest, attend appointments, and continue healing without fear of losing basic necessities.

I am deeply grateful for every share, donation, and message of encouragement. Knowing that people care gives me strength on the hardest days. Thank you for giving me hope and helping me get through this season.
