About this fundraiser

Help Ike Survive Prostate Cancer

I'm in Pain. I'm Running Out of Time.

My name is Ike Paul Nze, and I'm dying in Nigeria.

The pain when I urinate makes me scream. My legs are so swollen I can barely walk. The doctor said: "You have advanced prostate cancer. Without immediate surgery, you will die."

I'm not ready to die. But I need $8,500 for surgery, and I don't have it.

Four Motherless Children Will Lose Their Last Hope

I'm all they have left. Their mother (my sister) died. Their grandparents died. Their uncle (my brother) just died on December 12th.

If I die, these four children have no one.

Cancer has already stolen everyone I love:

2012 - My sister Blessing died during surgery, leaving her children motherless

2016 - My sister Obiageri died from throat cancer, leaving 4 children motherless

2020 - My mother died from grief , my father died years back

December 2024 - My brother died from Hepatitis B

I cannot be next. Those children cannot lose me too.

What I Need to Survive:

$8,500 TOTAL

$4,500 - Emergency prostate surgery

$2,000 - 3 months of medication

$1,500 - Recovery nutrition

$500 - Pre-surgery tests

Every Dollar Counts:

$10 = 2 days of medication

$25 = 1 week of recovery food

$50 = Critical blood tests

$100 = 2 weeks of medication

Why I'm Begging Strangers for Help

I've volunteered with the Juliet Patrick Outreach Foundation for 3 years, helping others. Now I'm the one who needs help.

In Nigeria, $4,500 is more than a year's salary. Hospitals demand full payment upfront—no money = no surgery = I die.

I've sold everything. Borrowed from everyone. My small shop barely feeds these four children.

The Juliet Patrick Outreach Foundation (affiliated with Jupa Promise Foundation in Nigeria) is trying to help, but they cannot do this alone.

Time is Running Out - Every Day the Cancer Spreads

I watched my sister die from cancer. I held her hand. I heard her cries. I'm terrified that's going to be me.

The doctors say I have weeks, not months. Every day I don't get surgery:

The cancer spreads deeper

My pain gets worse

My chances of survival drop

Four children get closer to losing another parent figure

If 850 People Give Just $10, I Live

That's dinner out. That's a tank of gas. To me, it's hope. It's time. It's a chance to live.
