Theresa, a loving mother, nana, sister and friend, has been diagnosed with bone cancer, a condition that, while not curable, is manageable.

Theresa’s journey with cancer began unexpectedly back in January when her daughter, Jasmine, took her to the Roseville Emergency Department after becoming frustrated with her primary care physician’s lack of proactive care. Within hours, Theresa was admitted and diagnosed with cancer. Since then, she has embarked on a courageous battle, undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

However, Theresa’s path has been far from smooth. Just as she was beginning her treatment, she faced another hurdle - the need for a double bypass surgery. Post-surgery complications arose, leading to an infection that required additional surgical intervention. To compound matters, Theresa’s health struggles have led to significant weight loss, necessitating the insertion of a feeding tube.

Throughout it all, Theresa has demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. Yet, the financial strain of her medical journey weighs heavily on her shoulders. Unable to return to work due to her condition, Theresa and her family are facing mounting medical expenses and financial uncertainty.
