Good day/ evening. My name is Michelle and I am a single Mom of 3 beautiful children. My son, Riley, is 10 years old and my youngest and only son. I have been advocating for him since he was 4 as I knew something wad a miss. After years of specialists and tests we finally have a concrete diagnosis of Autism with moderate expressive language delay and severe receptive language delay. He is just the sweetest boy. I now can apply for supports for him, however they take an inordinate amount of time to put into place. I'm trying to raise funds to purchase a specific chair for him in class and materials to work at home with him. As a single mom, it's so very hard, as I'm sure many can relate. I don't pretend to be ok asking for help but I'm willing to do what I must to help him overcome. He's spent far too long falling between the cracks as is. Thank you for reading.
