Hi! My name is Eva Smith, and I’m 62 years old. In January 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive lobular carcinoma). On April 10, 2023 I had surgery to remove the tumor. The pathology report after the surgery revealed that the cancer was still present. I am scheduled for a second surgery on April 17, 2023. 

Here’s a snapshot of my story:

Tommy is my sweet fiancée and we have 3 adult children and a grandchild. Prior to my diagnosis, I worked part-time as a waitress. Because the position was part-time, it did not offer vacation or sick leave. 

I humbly ask for your help during this time! The medical bills are piling up, and I am unable to pull the financial weight for my family right now. We are using every avenue of resources we can. Anything will help us! Even sharing this post for us. We appreciate any amount laid on your heart. We are trusting in God to provide for us! Above all, please join us in praying for healing, peace, and strength on this journey. Please pray for comfort and security for our children and grandchild. Please pray for my loved ones, as they are suffering through this with me. This fight is in God’s hands! I know I will beat this with His help!
