Mom had another follow up appointment today. The Pathologist noted that every breast tissue that was placed under the microscope was non-cancerous and there is no need for her to be placed on a cancer pill. TGBTG! Mom has had multiple doctor visits within the last week. Needless to say, no more doctor visits until April.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone that has Mom in their prayers, called, visited, or sent a donation. Special thanks to First African Baptist Church of East Savannah, family, friends, and Pryme Tyme staff/students at Savannah Classical Academy.

About this fundraiser

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go to Cheryl for medical expenses, travel expenses, and food as she is on leave from her part-time job at a charter school.  Cheryl was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer in August and has to start chemo treatments this week. Triple-negative breast cancer accounts for about 10% to 20% of all breast cancer cases. Every cancer diagnosis is unique, but in general, triple-negative breast cancer is a more aggressive type of tumor with a faster growth rate, higher risk of metastasis and recurrence risk. As much as she loves kids, she had no choice but to take a leave of absence as it will be harder for her body to fight off germs.  After the chemo treatments are complete, she'll then have to have surgery.  Being that she'll be out of work for months, this financial help will be one less worry through her journey. Help My Mom Ring the Bell with a Smile and No Worries!
