This fundraiser is to help myself obtain a wheelchair ramp for my home as I recover from a rare infection of my spinal cord. I prefer to remain anonymous because I am a single mom and currently wheelchair bound for at least the next three months if not permanently. Protecting myself and my children is very important to me. With the snow and ice coming to our area quickly, I need a safe method to get out of my house and go to the necessary doctors appointments and physical therapy. The cost of the ramp is anywhere between $1500 and $2000, any additional funds will be used to pay for installation. I do also suffer from a chronic pain disease as well as neuropathy. I did attempt reaching out to multiple local charities and have not heard anything back yet so I decided to reach out to the community to see if anyone is able to help since I am on a very fixed income.
